Summary:This course is designed to provide the information you need to keep your pet safe and act with confidence during an emergency (until you can take your pet to a veterinarian). Emphasis is placed on information relating to dogs and cats. Subjects covered include proper emergency procedures, emergencies and problems requiring immediate attention, and how to keep your pet healthy. You will use rescue critter mannequins to practice CPR, choking, and rescue breathing. Course fee includes American Red Cross Pet First Aid certificate good for life, 128 page manual, handouts, and practice bandage kit. American Red Cross Pet first Aid kits can be ordered at the end of the class for $25 each.

Anesthesia-free Teeth Cleaning

Summary: This is most appropriate for pets with mild to moderate calculus (tartar) buildup, or for animals that you do not want to undergo anesthesia.
